The Windrider backpack, like the Southwest and Junction series, represents our vision of a versatile, adaptable, and powerful tool for virtually any adventure. Launched in 2009 as our first backpack, it has been used by countless backpackers to experience and complete various challenges. The Windrider's main body is crafted from the new all-weave Dyneema® 200 denier fabric, offering unprecedented durability while retaining its signature lightweight and 100% waterproof properties, making Dyneema our primary material choice from the start. Equipped with three mesh external pockets for clear visibility of internal items and to dry wet gear on the go, the Windrider is a comfortable backpack that delivers top performance wherever you go.

The all-new Dyneema®️ Woven Composite 3.9 combines the lightweight characteristics of the Dyneema®️ Composite Hybrid 3.8 with durability and abrasion resistance that even surpasses the heavier Dyneema®️ Composite Hybrid 5.9.
The redesigned shoulder straps and stitched back panel provide a more comfortable and secure fit, improve weight distribution, and reduce long-term wear and tear.
The redesigned external pockets are deeper and have a lower rear edge for easy access to water bottles, and improve the security of gear such as ice axes, making packing and retrieving items easier.
The unique top-closed roll-top closure system with vertical compression belts allows you to adjust the bag's capacity, keeping the load compact, stable, and protected from weather conditions.
The compression top Y-shaped strap provides compression and stores equipment at the top of the pack.
The integrated 1/4-inch foam back panel adds cushioning and support, providing a more comfortable carrying experience.
The 70L back panel integrates a dual-density foam back panel with plastic reinforcements, providing cushioning and support for heavy loads and ensuring comfortable carrying.
The dual-density foam waist belt uses closed-cell foam and spacer mesh to provide comfort and support for long journeys.
The rigid belt features a Dyneema®️ zippered pocket for easy access to essentials and is secured with a reliable #5 YKK zipper.
Two removable profiled aluminum support rods provide support and help distribute the load. They are removable to save on additional weight.
Weather protection features seam tape on all vertical side seams and the back of stitched packages to enhance water resistance and keep your gear dry.

The 3/4-inch chest strap can be easily adjusted along the daisy chain on the shoulder straps.
The redesigned shoulder straps are shaped for a more natural curve around the neck, providing enhanced comfort. More frequent bartacks and increased chest strap adjustment options allow for a perfectly customized fit.
Dyneema fabric uses our exclusive Dyneema®️ Woven Composite 3.9 fabric, which offers significantly improved durability and is lighter than DCH material. Its unique all-woven Dyneema surface provides superior abrasion resistance, a better feel, and reduces wrinkling noise in cold conditions, providing a superior user experience.
External carrying features removable side compression straps for customizable carrying options, easily adjustable or detachable, providing versatile gear attachment options. Opposite buckles centrally secure items, and a daisy chain on the outer pocket accommodates various straps, increasing external storage flexibility.
The simple hydration system features a basic water bag loop and a repositioned water pipe port, allowing you to stay hydrated while on the go.
The ergonomically designed, stitched back panel structure forms a curved shape, locking the inner panel in place for a more comfortable and durable fit.
The bag offers optional accessories, including a removable internal pocket that allows you to add extra internal storage space whenever needed.
