Redesigned for long-distance hikers and thru-backpackers, the Unbound 40 and 55 have been upgraded with the ultra-durable Dyneema® Woven Composite Fabric 3.9, making them lighter, tougher, and more comfortable. Two ergonomically curved removable stays, an improved hip belt, and wider, more naturally contoured shoulder straps provide enhanced support and comfort when carrying heavier loads. The streamlined construction, combined with internal seam taping and low-profile sewn webbing loops, creates a cleaner, more functional design. A fully removable and customizable compression system makes it easier to secure trekking poles or oversized water bottles, while field-tested features like dual-access front pockets, bottom pockets, V-pull hip belt tensioners, and easy-access side water bottle pockets remain intuitive and efficient.
